For the benefit of visually impaired persons including all types of disabilities, widowed mothers, poor mothers abandoned by their husbands, on 15/08/2007 at the Star blind Trust office, a pre-festival, flag hoisting ceremony and welfare program was organized by the trust and flag hoisting for 32 visually impaired school children from families. Uniform, and non-vegetarian food for 200 people who participated in the function, free six month tailoring training for 25 women, wire chair recanning training for 10 visually impaired persons and three month training for soap oil and phenyol production for 10 visually impaired persons by arranging necessary equipment and services free of charge. Arranged by 277 beneficiaries participated and benefited in the program.

Star Blind Welfare Trust and Jeevan Foundation organized a free HIV awareness camp for disabled families in Tirunelveli district and distributed food to 50 people. Mayor of Tirunelveli presided over the ceremony.

On 21/4/2012 in Tirunelveli District, Star Blind Welfare Welfare Trust and Jeevan Trust jointly organized an HIV biocidal disease awareness camp for the benefit of all types of disabled including the visually impaired, Tirunelveli District Corporation, An awareness camp was conducted under the leadership of Mayor Mrs.Vijila Satyanandam and lunch was organized by Star Blind Welfare Trust for 50 people who participated in the camp.
